• Simplicity Wins: Often, the most memorable riffs are simple but effective. Think of AC/DC’s “Back in Black” or Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” Start with a rhythmic motif or basic power chord pattern and let it evolve naturally. Simplicity is key for riffs that people will remember.
