Keeping your guitar well-maintained ensures that it sounds its best and stays comfortable to play. Here’s a checklist for essential guitar care:

• String Changes: Fresh strings make a big difference in tone and playability. Change them regularly, especially if they begin to sound dull or feel sticky. The Fretboard Mastery Course includes tips on how to change strings efficiently.

• Neck and Fret Care: Wipe down your fretboard after playing to remove oils and dirt. Conditioning the fretboard with oil every few months will prevent it from drying out and help the wood stay smooth.
